The CRP129 scan tool has a large 3.5-inch color display screen for easy and quick interaction. It displays all the data and results obtained from the code reader. The buttons are clearly arranged for easy use, and it has a multilingual menu.
Extensive vehicle coverage

One-year warranty
This is a reliable and sturdy tool that will serve you for many years to come. It is also a nice investment since the manufacturer backs it up with a one-year warranty. So, in case of a defect, you will get a replacement or have it repaired.
What we didn’t like about the Launch CRP129 scanner
Cumbersome to use – one of the biggest challenges of utilizing this code reader is that it is cumbersome to use. You cannot utilize it instantly out of the box. This is because you’ve to register the device by visiting the Autel site. Also, it is a bit complicated for newbies to use with much ease.
Not compatible with iOS devices – another challenge of using this scanner is that it is not compatible with iOS and Android devices. It only works with Windows software. This is a setback for people who own iOS or Android devices. So, you can only update it using Windows on your PC. For the iOS operating system, you have to choose the Autel MaxDiag advanced MD808 Pro diagnostic scanner.
Compatibility problems – even though it is stated that this code reader can work on all 1996 and newer US, Asian, and European vehicles, this is not true. As a matter of fact, this scan tool is more compatible with most vehicle makes and models manufactured from 2006 and beyond.
